The President of IMAB, Prof.Dr. Kr.Metodiev, and the Rector of the Medical University, Prof.Dr. Kr.Ivanov, have the pleasure, privilege and honour to invite you to attend:
24-th Annual Assembly of IMAB, as a Joint Forum with 1-st International Conference of Alumni Club at the Medical University, which shall take place in Hotel "Admiral", Sea-side Resort "Golden Sands", near Varna, Bulgaria, from 15 to 18 May 2014.
Main topics of the Forum: Infections (all aspects), Cancer (all aspects), Varia
Presentations: plenary lecture (30 min), short oral communication (10 min), poster, exhibition of new products of pharmaceutical companies, workshop/s/ (thematic), round-table discussion/s/ (Alumni), get-together (Alumni)
Cultural and social programme: upon request, with additional fee (trips to Varna museums, visit of near-by historical towns Nessebar and Balchik)
Conditions for participation:
- registration fee for active participant: 390.00 Euro, incl. attendance, congress materials, welcome reception (15 May), wine party (17 May) and 3-night accommodation in the venue of the Forum, Hotel "Admiral"
- registration fee for accompanying person: 250.00 Euro, incl. same as above, plus Varna city tour
- registration fee for young participants (up to 35 years age): 280.00 Euro, incl. same as active participants
- payment should be done: bank transfer (until 10 May 2014 – fees as announced above); payment after this date or upon arrival to the Secretariat (cash or by credit card): active participant – 420.00 Euro; accompanying person and young researchers – no change, same as announced above
Venue of the Forum: Hotel "Admiral" is a 5-star hotel, the best holiday place of "Golden Sands", just a step from the beach and the sea. It offers excellent conditions for scientific and cultural events, plus relaxation and spa facilities.
The International airport of Varna is about 25 km away, and a number of direct flights to major European airports are available to arrive to Varna (via Vienna, London, Moscow, Tel Aviv or Sofia).
By this time of the year, with the starting season, many charter flights to/from most of the European countries are also possible to fly.
Please, kindly observe the dead-line/s/ for registration (as announced above), applications for your participation (abstracts should be sent until 1 May 2014) and hotel reservations (indicate the date of arrival and departure - the registration fee includes 3 nights in Hotel "Admiral", but those of you, who would wish to stay longer, have to declare that in advance for additional payment of extra nights).
Important: every application and reservation MUST be done strictly and only through the Organizing Committee, the Hotel authorities shall NOT accept any reservation without a confirmation from the Secretariat of the Forum for paid registration fee.
