For the sixth consecutive year the Pharmaceutical Business Forum brought together outstanding experts in this field. The forum and the scientific and practical conference, organised by the Faculty of Pharmacy at MU-Varna, provided an opportunity for more than 200 participants and over 20 companies to exchange experience and ideas. The event was held from 25th to 27th October in Varna.
“This is the sixth consecutive edition that demonstrates the sustainability of our form of cooperation with the business and the interaction amongst students, lecturers and partners, and I believe that the event deserved the recognition of our partners from the Regional Pharmaceutical College and the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union,” said the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Diana Ivanova at the opening of the event.
Prof. Todorka Kostadinova, Vice Rector for International Cooperation delivered a congratulatory address on behalf of the Rector of MU-Varna Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov, “In our fast developing world, in the context of globalization and increasing competition, the creation of a healthy link between education, business and the economy is of extremely crucial importance to the adequate functioning of our modern society.”
Now in its sixth consecutive year the forum provides an opportunity for the students to get acquainted with the specific characteristics and the state of the pharmaceutical market, as well as the innovations in the pharmaceutical sector. It enables students to get in contact with perspective employers, to get familiar with the current aspects of the work, and to exchange ideas for the development of the branch.
