Health Workforce – Main Capital of Healthcare Systems

“Health Workforce – Main Capital of Healthcare Systems” was the theme of a workshop carried out on May 17th 2016 for disseminating the results from the project “Joint Action on Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting” and outlining their sustainability. The ideas, aims and results from the project were presented with emphasis on the work done by the Bulgarian team from the Medical University of Varna and the National Centre of Public Health and Analyses – Sofia, represented by Milena Vladimirova. Prof. Kostadinova, PhD, Vice Rector at MU-Varna and leader of Work Package 7 entitled “Sustainability”, Assoc. Prof. Emanuela Mutafova, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health and Prof. Stefka Koeva, Head of the Department of Economics and Healthcare Management were moderators of the meeting.
