BBC Report on the Benefits of Medical Education in Varna

The leading BBC News Channel has broadcast an extensive report on training of British students at Medical University - Varna. In the report, the BBC journalist Sadaf Maruf presented the points of view of medical students, from different years of study, who have chosen to acquire their education in Bulgaria. Zarina Brady, Shahsuar Arif, Zahara Assad Sha and Isaac Tarik are the students, who proudly showed the various departments of University Hospital “St. Marina” and introduced some of their lecturers to the TV team.

“There are 250 British students, who study Medicine or Dental Medicine at Medical University - Varna in this seaside resort. The training fees are slightly lower than in the UK – 8 000 Euro per year, however, the living costs are significantly cheaper, which makes learning here a very attractive alternative”, writes the BBC journalist.
