On 24th and 25th March 2017 Medical University - Varna organizes Open Days, targeted at prospective students, parents, teachers and citizens across the country. During these two days prospective students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the University facilities and to experience the specific character of the training in the various programmes of study and the modern training methods. On 24th and 25th March the four Faculties of the University - Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy and Public Health as well as the Medical College will open their doors to everyone wishing to explore the training bases of MU-Varna.
Representatives of the University will be happy to answer to the enquiries of prospective students and advise them on their choice of a major during their visit to MU-Varna.
During the event visitors will have the opportunity to:
- observe 3D human anatomy through live demonstrations;
- explore the richest in our country museum collection of anatomy;
- observe a demonstration of the digital 3D technologies in Dental Medicine;
- carry out microscopic observations and laboratory experiments - observing blood cells and live plant objects; determining the blood groups; techniques for taking fingerprints used in forensic medicine and criminology; measuring the levels of glucose and cholesterol in the blood; drug tests; DNA isolation; preparation of various medicine formulations; attractive chemical experiments - Silver Mirror, Volcano, Golden Rain, Iron Blood, Chameleon, etc .;
- receive guidelines on the entrance exams in Chemistry;
- observe e-learning in a virtual classroom;
- meet our students, who will elaborate on student life;
- explore our sport facilities, where students are able to develop their talents and gifts;
- receive curious information - what is really happening at Medical University-Varna? On the stage - students and lecturers! We raise the curtain for you with our short films;
- get a glimpse into the "second home" of our students, getting acquainted with the youngest, most colorful, talented and competent team of a scientific library in Bulgaria and many others.
