European School of Pathology (EScoP) entitled "Abdominal Neuroendocrine Pathology" was held at MU - Varna on 29th and 30th September 2017. This has been the first course with a similar topic held in Europe.
This year the lecturers were at a very high European level, making the classes beneficial not only for the postgraduate students but also for the pathology specialists. Three of the most outstanding scientists in Neuroendocrine Pathology in the world Prof. Günter Klöppel and Prof. Bence Sipos from Germany, and Prof. Jean Yves Scoazec from France presented their views on the forum.
The European School is organized once again, thanks to the Bulgarian Pathology Association, which has also become an established partner of the European Society of Pathology. The course is targeted at improving the participants' knowledge and skills in Neuroendocrine Pathology as well as the therapy of patients with this type of disease.
The participants in the training were awarded with certificates with valid points for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
