The lecture course on topic "Lasers - low-energy laser therapy" will take place in auditorium room "Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Klisarov" at the Faculty of Dental Medicine from 13:30 on 25th of October (Friday). The course is divided into two models: Physics of the laser and Low-energy laser therapy. The course is opened for all students, residents and PhD students who are interested in the topic and will be in Bulgarian language.
In the first module "Physics of lasers" the participants will be familiarized with the principles of the laser's work and the characteristics of the laser beam as well as physics of the light in the tissues and specific practices of the lasers in dental medicine.
In the second module "Low-energy laser therapy" Dr. Veselina Bozalieva from the Faculty of dental medicine in Plovdiv will reveal the essence of the photobiology and a laser simulation and principals and peculiarities of the low-laser therapy. Among the questions and topics which will be discussed are the mechanisms of action of the red and infrared laser radiation, absorption characteristics of the laser beam, separate heal steps and analyses of the therapeutic effect.
