UMHAT "St. Marina" - Varna Obtained an Ambulance Provided by Israel through the Bulgarian Red Cross

From today UMHAT "St. Marina" - Varna has at its disposal another ambulance, after Mr. Hristo Grigorov, Chairperson of the Bulgarian Red Cross, officially handed the keys to the Executive Director of the Hospital - Prof. Dr. Valentin Ignatov.

The reanimobile is gratuitously granted by the organization of the Red Shield of David of Israel through the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria Israel.

Official guests at the ceremony for providing the ambulance were Avinoam Katrieli - President of the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria Israel, Mr. Kosta Bazitov - Deputy Mayor of Varna Municipality, Prof. Krasimir Gigov - Director General of the Bulgarian Red Cross, Mr. Iliya Raev - Chairperson of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Varna, Mr. Emil Magrisso - Secretary General of the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria Israel, Prof. Dr. Krassimir Metodiev - Honorary Consul of Israel to Bulgaria.

The President of the Binational Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria Israel Avinoam Katrieli reminded that this was another ambulance in a row, provided by them and said: "This is a donation which is inspired by the immense love and respect of the Israeli people for Bulgaria, and I sincerely hope that it will save lives and will be in favour of Varna and its citizens".

Mr. Katrieli and the Chairperson of BRC - Acad. Hristo Grigorov said that they together would provide additional equipment for the ambulance.

Prof. Dr. Valentin Ignatov thanked on behalf of the management of Hospital "St. Marina" - Varna for the gesture and expressed his hope that the fast transportation of patients would be improved thanks to the newly obtained ambulance.
