Young people from 54 countries on five continents wish to study in the English-language programmes in Medicine and Dental Medicine at Medical University - Varna this year. "The competition is serious; three applicants compete for one place. Only the best-prepared have a chance to study at our University because the places are limited," commented the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Albena Kerekovska.
The admission to the English-language programmes at MU-Varna is based on successfully passed tests in Chemistry and Biology, which rank the applicants with the highest scores. The training period lasts 6 years, and the diplomas issued by MU-Varna are internationally recognized.
The state-of-the-art facilities for preclinical and clinical training, high-tech interactive training and the opportunities for sports, culture and entertainment attract thousands of applicants each year around the world. The Medical University in Varna is oriented towards modern and innovative training methods. A huge emphasis is placed on innovation and introduction of information and communication technologies throughout the training process. New forms of training that are in line with the best modern global practices are constantly being sought. At present the predominant number of undergraduate students is from EU member states. Moreover, some of them have expressed a desire for academic and professional development in Varna.
