What is ebrary?
It all started with a single trivial question - how to assemble a ligerad (a bicycle which can be riden in a supine position)? In 1988 Christopher Warnock decided to seek information on this in the local library. It turned out that the engineering books were stored in the basement, the literature for bicycles - on the 3rd floor and the periodicals - on the 4th. Ten years later, Christopher shared this problem with an old friend of his Kevin Seillière and they decided together to solve it. Both of them shared the conviction that all publications should be accessible online - thus libraries could meet the growing needs of users.
Christopher and Kevin launched the ebrary project in 1999. A pioneer in the field, ebrary became a leading provider of e-books for libraries and researchers worldwide. Today it is the only product that provides an opportunity for libraries to easily upload, integrate and share their own content. Ebrary has become a part of ProQuest database since January 2011.
Medical University - Varna wishes you a year, full of health and new knowledge!
