Today and Tomorrow the Students of MU-Varna Are Conducting a Campaign for the World Oral Health Day

The World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated every year on 20th March. It is an international day dedicated to the benefits of proper oral hygiene and the importance of its maintenance. In this respect, Dental Medicine Student Association - Varna, together with FDM-Varna, the Student Council of Medical University - Varna, DMSA and APSV will organize information and prevention campaign under the slogan: "Smile for a lifetime" for the second consecutive year in Varna.

During the information stage of the campaign, on 19 March at 5:00 pm, at Mall Varna and MU-Varna and on 20 March, at 4:00 pm, at Mall Varna and the Faculty of Dental Medicine, the students are going to hand out information leaflets,  to conduct quick surveys, whereat special gifts will be expecting all respondents. The future dental medics are going to demonstrate the proper tooth brushing technique on special models. There will also be a discussion on the survey questions, aiming to improve the health and oral culture of the citizens.

Free prophylactic examinations will be conducted at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, on Friday and Saturday (20th March - from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, and on 21st March - from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm), during the Doors Open Days at MU-Varna.
