The 24th official ceremony on awarding an honorary title "Doctor Honoris Causa" of Medical University – Varna is going to be held on June 11th 2014 at 14:00 in the Auditorium "Vladimir Ivanov" at the University Hospital "St. Marina" – Varna.
The recipient of the honorary title is Prof. Dr. Rudolf Speich who is a renowned European specialist in the field of pulmonary diseases and pulmonary hypertension. Prof. Speich is a head of the center for pulmonary hypertension at the Clinics of internal diseases in the University hospital in Zurich, Switzerland.
During the event Dr. Speich is expected to deliver an academic lecture entitled "The language of breathlessness".
