Students and specialists from the Medical University of Varna participated in a training course under auspice of the European Academy of Neurology Published 10/10/2014 Page Content Representatives from the Medical University of Varna participated in a regional training course in neurology which was held on October 2-5, 2014 in Sofia. The course is conducted under the auspice of the European Academy of Neurology. Specialists in neurology, physical medicine, rehabilitation, kinesitherapy, students and residents from 10 countries – Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Russia, Moldova, Ukraine, Albania, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Egypt, took part in the training. Current problems of the aging brain, stroke and dementia, new technology and neurorehabilitation and neurosonology were among the covered topics. The Medical University of Varna was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silva Andonova – a member of the organizing committee of the regional course during the Forum. Assoc. Prof. Andonova delivered a lecture entitled: “Eternity in neurology with USB” during the first day. Students from the specialties Medicine and Rehabilitation participated on the course together with specialists in neurology and residents in neurology from the Second Neurological Clinic at the University Hospital “St. Marina”.
