A call has been opened for mobility projects for PhD students, academic staff, researchers and administration from Bulgarian higher schools in Iceland, Principality of Liechtenstein and Kingdom of Norway. The mobility grants are provided by a financial mechanism of the European Economic Area within the Programme BG09 "EEA Grants Fund". The programme operator for Bulgaria is the Ministry of Education and Science.
The main goal of the programme is to enhance the cooperation between our country and the countries of the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland и Liechtenstein) in the field of higher education and scientific research through the funding of projects aimed at the development and the expansion of partnerships between Bulgarian higher schools and those in the donor countries. To the purposes of training, delivering lectures, exchange of professional experience and research conducted in the countries from the EEA it envisages to grant scholarships to students, PhD students, academic staff, researchers and administrative staff from Bulgarian higher schools and scientific research organisations. The activities in the framework of the programme are open to all areas of higher education and all scientific fields.
The deadline for documents application is 1st March 2014.
One of the prerequisites for the mobility implementation is that the applicant has obtained an official invitation from the host institution. Further information about the application requirements and details about the grants can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education.
