The folk-dance ensemble of MU-Varna won two
special awards at the Second International Festival "Dragonfly" as a part
of the IFF PIERIA 2017 Grand Festival. The event was held from 27th
September to 1st October in the resort city of Paralia Katerini,
Greece.
The ensemble of MU-Varna, with an artistic
director Diana Dimitrova, was awarded with deserved ovation for its spectacular
performance of the dance "Rhythms of Shoplouka" by the organizers and
guests.
Besides their marvellous performance the 16
students of MU-Varna impressed with their unique beautiful costumes, which were
made especially for their participation at the Festival.
To the great delight of all visitors, after
the end of the dance performance, the students led a long Horo, passing through
the main street of the resort.
