The “Club of the Bright Talents” at MU-Varna Gathered Together Representatives of Different Nations and Universities on One Stage

Once again the annual concert of the "Club of the Bright Talents" fascinated the guests and friends of MU-Varna with a diverse programme. More than 200 people enjoyed a variety of performances by students and lecturers at the completely renovated First Auditorium of the University on 3rd November.

More than 30 students from different programmes of study and ages took part both with their original performances and covers of evergreen pieces. New supplements to the talented medical guild were Radina Genova- "Assistant - Pharmacist", who performed the song "Alone" of Maria Ilieva, and two German students from the English-Language Training Programme, who sang under the guitar accompaniment.

Among the other participants at the concert, "Life Castle" Rock Band - an interesting collaboration between Bulgarian and English-speaking students of MU-Varna and a representative of the Fourth Language School "Frédéric Joliot-Curie" made an awesome impression. The groups "Living Horizon" and "Medic" thrilled the numerous spectators with performances of solo guitar, piano and drums.

Traditionally, initiator and host of the event was the Pathophysiology lecturer Assoc. Prof. Radko Radev. He greeted the audience with his original songs and poems, and a speech on the occasion of the Day of the Bulgarian Enlighteners.

Once again the concert attracted guests from the entire city. Not only the students of MU-Varna, but also the presence and enthusiastic participation of students from the Technical University, Naval Academy, University of Economics and College of Tourism were a lovely surprise. Thus, the wonderful tradition, initiated by MU-Varna, turned into a kind of cultural exchange between the academic institutions.

The next event inspired by the "Club of the Bright Talents" will be held on 15.12.2016, when a newly created choir is expected to join the present participants.
