Dr. Yavor Kashlov from UMHAT "St. Marina"-Varna took part at the 10th Annual International Congress of Cardiology-2018, which was held in Rome (Italy), from 30th November to 2nd December 2018.
In front of the congress delegates he made a presentation entitled "HMGB1 and RIPK3 as markers for necrosis and necroptosis in myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation", based on his original doctoral dissertation, conducted in collaboration between the Clinics of Cardiology and Internal Diseases at UMHAT "St. Marina".
The global interactive event is targeted at cardiology specialists and aims at sharing knowledge and creating networks to promote the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. More than 500 abstracts on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, more than 400 oral presentations, and over 100 scientific posters, revealing the latest research, scientific discoveries and the most advanced technologies in the world of cardiology were presented during the scientific forum.
According to the organizers, prominent specialists and researchers in the field of cardiology from more than 40 countries took part at the forum, where our country was presented by three participants.
