Students from Medical University - Varna successfully presented the University at the traditional Friendship Day, which was held yesterday at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. Our students in Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy and Public Health are being taught at the training and clinical facilities of the Moscow University within two weeks, starting from 20 July, in the bilateral summer internship, which has been conducted for the fifth consecutive year.
The students from MU-Varna gave a presentation to acquaint their colleagues with the University. Furthermore, they danced the traditional Danube Horo and presented traditional products of the Bulgarian cuisine to their hosts. "As usual, the Bulgarian students have impressed us with their knowledge and creativity" - said Ms. Larisa Vuhrova - the deputy head of the International Department at I.M. Sechenov FMSMU.
Besides our students, the students from the Medical University in Minsk, Belarus, the Faculty of Medicine at the University in Novi Sad, Serbia and the hosts from I.M. Sechenov FMSMU took part at the Friendship Day.
During the event the head of the Bulgarian group Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Kostov received officially the award for the best debut team, which was won by a team of MU-Varna during the
Olympiad in Practical Medical Training, held at the beginning of April.
