An agreement for mobility within the “Erasmus+” programme was signed between
Medical University – Varna and Maastricht University - the Netherlands after a
long-standing collaboration in the field of research practices and training.
Under the agreement, students and professors from MU- Varna, especially from
the Faculty of Public Health, will be able to conduct different training or
teaching periods in one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
The University of Maastricht is one of the most
modern and prestigious universities in the Netherlands where the most innovative
methods of education are applied. In the “most international” Dutch university,
where students of more than 70 nationalities are being trained, every project
is internationally oriented and the curriculum is exceptionally flexible.
So far, MU- Varna has been in partnership with the
Maastricht University within projects under Seventh Framework Programme a
number of research projects as well as the Masters’ programme in “Healthcare
Management”. The new collaboration under “Erasmus+” programme is a proof for
the high appreciation and evaluation that the Medical University – Varna
received from its Dutch partners.
