From 2015 Medical University - Varna will start publishing a new English language scientific journal Scripta Scientifica Salutis Publicae, in which articles in the field of Public Health - Social Medicine, General Medicine, Economics, Management, Informatics, Ethics and Law, Healthcare, Hygiene, Medicine of Disasters, Rehabilitation, Occupational Diseases will be published.
Each publication in the periodicals of MU-Varna, including the most recent edition of the University Scripta Scientifica Salutis Publicae, receives the so-called DOI number (Document Object Identifier). Through it the authors and their articles become part of the global scientific exchange. The publications become visible for the main free scientific search engines, including Google Scholar.
The submission of manuscripts for the first issue of Scripta Scientifica Salutis Publicae is underway through the online system http://press.mu-varna.bg/ojs/index.php/sssp for publications of MU-Varna (without a direct contact with an editor and publisher). Peer review is double blind. The working language of the journal is English, and the publications are indexed as full-text PDF files.

In order to submit a manuscript for publication, you need to register in the system only once at: http://press.mu-varna.bg/ojs/index.php/index/user/register. After passing the compulsory steps in the registration (username, password, etc.), it is necessary to strictly fill in the fields containing the metadata of the article and to upload the files with your text, figures, graphics, etc. After the application, the communication takes place through the online system, where you can track the status of your article till its publication.
If you are already a registered user of another journal in the system you do not need to make a second registration. In order to add your role as an author/an editor/a reviewer in the journal Scripta Scientifica Salutis Publicae, it is necessary to do the following:
- Select the journal Scripta Scientifica Salutis Publicae.
- Click on the link User Home
- Click on the link Edit My Profile
- Select the desired role for this journal - author, editor, reviewer or a combination thereof in the window that opens.
- Save the changes.
