In connection with May 24th - the
Bulgarian Education and Culture, and Slavonic Literature Day, the Library of MU-Varna announces
May 21st and
22nd for "
Open Doors Days". Teachers and students will have the opportunity from
13.00 to
17.00 during both days to get acquainted with the services that the library offers to help students, teachers and researchers in the university.
We want to invite our readers to share their thoughts, ideas and proposals for the development and role of the library and its modern outlook. For this purpose we have prepared a short questionnaire which you can complete on paper site or online
here We will be happy if you participate in defining the vision of a modern research library.
We offer our readers to get involved in the
Open Doors Days in another interesting initiative - "
Librarian for a Day". You will have the opportunity to learn about the history, structure and specifics of working in all departments of the library, get information that interests you and get inspired to use more often the library services we provide.
The Library of Medical University - Varna is a lively and attractive place where we care for the reader and open access to information is of paramount importance, and the development of medical science and education is one of its main objectives. The library has contributed in providing advanced information services and the development of research by providing remote access to global scientific databases.
