Zlatarova from the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at MU – Varna will deliver a lecture entitled “Diabetic Retinopathy - Risk Factors and Treatment Opportunities” in front of patients with diabetes mellitus. The lecture will be held on 28.04.2015 from 17:30 in the club of Varna Diabetes Association (VDA), situated on 18 “Voden” Str.Diabetic retinopathy is one of diabetes complications and the leading cause of blindness among capable people of working age (25-65) in economically developed countries. The early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy is of critical importance for the beginning of its adequate treatment on time.
