At the end of 2018, the Centre for Human Resources Development reviewed the activities implemented within the biggest European programme for education, training, youth the sports "Erasmus+". In order to assess the wide scope and the positive effects of the work carried out in Bulgaria until now under this programme, on December 6th 2018 the National Agency held the traditional "Erasmus+" Programme Valorisation Conference.
After the valorization of "Erasmus+" projects starting in 2017, the project for mobility № 2016-1-BG01-KA103-022902 of the Medical University of Varna obtained high evaluation and was awarded the Token for Quality.
The official awarding ceremony was held on 06.12.2018 (Thursday) in the Central Military Club. The award was accepted by the Prof. Todorka Kostadinova - Vice Rector for International Relations and Institutional Coordinator for "Erasmus+" programme at MU – Varna and Mrs Svetlana Panayotova – Administrative Coordinator.
The Medical University of Varna has been working under "Socrates – Erasmus" since 2000. In 2007 the University obtained an extended "Erasmus" university charter, and in December 2013 - "Erasmus+" charter for higher education for the programme period 2014-2020. MU-Varna has signed bilateral agreements within "Erasmus+" programme with 47 universities from 19 European countries.
