The Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Vanyo Sharkov and the Deputy Manager of NHIF Ivanka Krasteva demonstrated how to work with a fingerprint authenticator at the largest hospital in northeastern Bulgaria - St. Marina University Hospital in Varna. Patients will be registered upon entering and leaving medical institutions by means of a fingerprint authenticator. Currently, the trial period of the system is underway, which is aimed at testing the system and eliminating any deficiencies or technical problems.
After that there was training for managerial and administrative staff at medical institutions in Varna District, held at St. Marina University Hospital.
