Taking advantage of the free electricity market, Medical University - Varna has achieved the reduction of the total electricity cost by 22% for all of its structures, and a flat rate for day and night electricity consumption. Furthermore, the negotiated lower prices apply not only for all University buildings but also for the student residence halls and canteens. Consequently, all students accommodated in the residence halls of MU-Varna will pay lower monthly electricity bills. Within a year, the sum of 120 000 lev is expected to be saved, which will be invested in new advanced technologies for student training.
