MU-Varna Took Part in the European Researchers' Night

The European Researchers' Night in Varna was held for yet another year on 29 September 2017. The event took place simultaneously in approximately 300 cities in Europe and around the world.

MU-Varna participated as an associate partner of Prof. Fridtjof Nansen Institute of Oceanology - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Varna, and TU-Varna. The event was held under FRESH (Find Researchers Everywhere and SHare) project, funded by the European Commission under Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions of Horizon 2020 Programme.

This year's edition of the Researchers' Night took place at the Festival and Congress Center, where MU-Varna prepared a thematic stand, where the innovations and technology in education and science in the field of Medicine and Biotechnology were presented.


The visitors had the opportunity to learn about the achievements of the University in e-learning in all specialties, the work at the Simulation Centre, the digitization of the links between lecturers and students. Projects, partnerships and good practices in the field of Translational Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, Robotic Surgery, Cell Therapy, Nutrition and Socially Significant Diseases, quality of life, Maritime Medicine and others were also presented.

This large-scale initiative was held in 11 cities across Bulgaria, targeted at attracting young talents to science and encouraging them to choose the science career pathway.
