The annual national conference on Gastroenterology with
international participation is to be held on 2nd-4th June
2016 at Meliá Grand Hermitage Hotel, Golden Sands. The event is organized by
the Bulgarian Society of Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and
Abdominal Ultrasound.
The first day is intended for a postgraduate course with a
video session and "state-of-the-art" lectures devoted to discussion
topics in the field of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, while the focus of the scientific
programme will be innovations in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Innovations
in diagnosis and treatment of diseases of gastrointestinal tract, oncological
and inflammatory diseases, pancreatitis, hepatitis B and C, etc. will be the main
focus of the conference.
The dynamic development of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
requires a continuous process of updating the knowledge and skills of
professionals. The lecture course will seek the answers to the questions
"What’s new ...?" in the various aspects of Gastroenterology. Outstanding
lecturers from Bulgaria, the USA, England, Poland, Turkey, Macedonia, Russia,
Germany, etc. will provide the answer to these questions.
A press conference is scheduled for 3rd June 2016 /Friday/,
at 10.10, at the Ballroom of Meliá Grand Hermitage Hotel, Golden Sands, which will
be attended by Prof. Dr. Krum Katsarov - Chairperson of the Bulgarian Society
of Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Abdominal Ultrasound and
Prof. Dr. Iskren Kotsev - Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at St.
Marina University Hospital.
