With Care to the Health of Varna Citizens Published 04/05/2016 Page Content A number of initiatives, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the foundation of the Faculty of Public Health at Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna, will be held on the World Health Day, on 7 April 2016. The organizers are the Faculty of Public Health, the Department of Health Care and the students from Nursing and Midwifery programmes of study.In front of the University, 55 Marin Drinov Str. and in front of DCC "St. Marina", from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm, students majoring in Nursing are going to measure blood pressure and blood sugar and will teach the citizens the rules and techniques for measuring these indicators. The citizens of Varna will have the opportunity to ask questions related to the control of blood sugar to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Margaritka Boncheva, DSc, in the makeshift medical centre in the University campus, from 10.30 to 12.00 pm.In the gym of Medical University - Varna, from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm, students majoring in Midwifery are going to show physical exercises intended for expectant mothers for achieving an active natural birth and faster recovery.We are looking forward to seeing you!
