MU-Varna Open Days, held for the third consecutive year on 25 and 26 March 2016, provoked great interest. More than 1 000 students from Burgas, Ruse, Dobrich, Shumen and Varna, tempted by medical and health sciences, visited the University, situated in the seaside capital. The young people got acquainted with the programmes and curricula in the Faculties of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health and the ones taught at the Medical College, and the opportunities for career development after graduation. Overwhelmed by curiosity, the prospective students watched demonstrations in the virtual microscopy rooms, 3D anatomy, laboratory experiments, 3D technology in Dental Medicine, as well as live demonstrations and got acquainted with the opportunities for sports at the University. On the other hand, current students willingly answered the questions of their future colleagues about the training process, examinations and student life.
The Affiliates of Medical University - Varna in Sliven, Veliko Tarnovo and Shumen also welcomed students from 9th to 12th grade, as well as their parents. The students from the Affiliates, with the help of their lecturers, demonstrated a variety of medical manipulations and procedures, while the directors presented the training process.
The application documents for the preliminary entry tests in Biology and Chemistry for the programmes of Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy can be submitted up to 6th April 2016, at MU-Varna. The documents can also be submitted online at the official website.
