The Assistant Rector of MU-Varna Eng. Deyan Grancharov opened the annual University Tournament "Rector's Cup", which started with basketball matches. The first two competitors were the teams of the guest lecturers from Germany and a team of MU-Varna.
Volleyball competitions begin today, at 1.00 pm, and the tennis tournament starts tomorrow, 9th October, at 10.00 am.
Following the motto "A healthy mind in a healthy body", the academic management of the educational establishment pays great attention to sports and physical activities as an indispensable part of the development and training of its students. Students compete in a variety of disciplines not only among themselves but also in competition with other universities in the city and the whole country.
The competitions finish on 22nd October.
