The team of the Department of Economics and Health Care Management delineated the latest innovations in the health policy of Bulgaria, within the framework of the partnership between MU- Varna and the European Observatory on Health Systems Policies.
The latest innovations in the development of the health policies are available on the website for Bulgaria in the Health Systems and Policy Monitor (HSPM), which has been supported by the Department of Economics and Health Care Management since 2013
Highlights in the coverage of the innovations in 2019 are the amount and distribution of funds in NHIF budget, public hospital funding, and the political process in the creation and implementation of the National Health Map.
HSPM is an innovative platform of the European Observatory on Health Systems Policies that provides a detailed description of health systems and up-to-date information on reforms and changes that are of particular relevance to health policy in 30 European countries, the USA and Canada.
