More than 500 guests from Varna and the neighboring cities of Shumen, Dobrich and Burgas visited the university-wide Open Days, which took place on 20th and 21st March, at the four Faculties of the University - Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health and the Medical College. Such a large-scale initiative aimed at acquainting prospective students with the training opportunities, offered by the higher medical school, has been held for the second consecutive year at the University.
On 20th March the University gates were also open to future international applicants from Germany and England. At the same time an Open Day was also held at the Affiliate of MU-Varna in Sliven.
Students, prospective students, parents and citizens had the opportunity to take a look at the training facilities, providing education to students of all specialties and to take part in various demonstrations and experiments. After everything they had witnessed, there was hardly anyone who was not convinced of how important and promising and at the same time how interesting the medical science could be.
Following the previously announced programme, five visitors to the Open Days will get a unique opportunity to be convinced personally of the professional skills of the students - on 1st April at 10:00 am, in the lobby of MU-Varna, the names of the five lucky winners will be drawn who will gain:
- Cosmetic facial procedure (optional);
- Cosmetic body procedure (optional);
- Classic full body massage;
- Prophylactic dental examination;
- Professional cleaning of calculus.
