Minister Lilyana Pavlova Awarded MU-Varna with a Special Prize for Educational Infrastructure in the Competition

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova awarded the special prize in the category "Buildings Educational Infrastructure" within the competition "Building of the Year" to MU-Varna at an official ceremony, which was held on 9 December 2015 in Sofia. The high distinction was received by the Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov and the Assistant-Rector Eng. Deyan Grancharov. The annual competition is held under the patronage of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova.

        

The construction of the Faculty of Pharmacy at MU-Varna took a year, involving 9.5 million lev investments. The building designers are arch. Yanko Petrov and arch. Miroslav Stalev, and the project was implemented by Planex OOD. The students are already being trained in the equipped with modern facilities auditoriums, laboratories and training rooms.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Denitsa Nikolova, the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova and others.
