In his speech the Rector of MU-Varna Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov emphasized the importance of being careful about the words we utter, but he also underlined that all those who are practising the art of Hippocrates should be even more careful not only about words but also about their deeds. "Because for a patient the doctor's words could be the last and at the same time the most trustworthy ray of hope and salvation from the disease. Let's do our best to teach those willing to follow us to love people, because being a good doctor means, above all, being a human. We constantly change our roles of a student and a teacher, but isn't this precisely the deepest meaning of the deed of St. Cyril and Methodius and their five disciples who scattered the seeds of speech and knowledge? May we all hand down the best of what we have learned from our parents and teachers to those who are coming after us, may we sow only these seeds that will make the future brighter and better - in the name of Man, in the name of Life!"
