The young sailing team of MU-Varna won bronze medals in the Keelboat National Championship in ORC B Class. The competition took place from 13th to 16th September. Traditionally, the organizer of the event, which was held in Sveti Vlas and hosted by Marina Dinevi, was the Bulgarian Sailing Federation.
Twenty-one crews from the cities of Burgas, Varna, Nesebar, Primorsko, Pomorie and Sofia competed in the races.
The crew of the boat "Hygeia", with Captain Angel Dipchikov, won one of the leading positions after a tough competition. The University crew members were students from different years of study in the programmes of Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy.
