Conservative Dentistry

The aim of training in Conservative Dentistry is targeted at acquiring theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of hard dental tissues, learning and practical acquisition of the fundamental methods of diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the dental pulp and periodoncium. Conservative Dentistry is a discipline that incorporates the sections Cariesology and Endodontics;

Student training at the Department of Conservative Dentistry is conducted from the fourth to the tenth semester and it is implemented in two stages. Preclinical stage (from the fourth to the sixth semester) is a phantom course in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics. Clinical stage (from the seventh to the tenth semester) is focused on clinical work on patients for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of non- carious and carious diseases of hard dental tissues, as well as their complications. ​
