Registration for an academic year

Please note that according to the University regulations, students must register for the following academic year as follows:

  1. students who have passed all required examinations –not later than the beginning of the academic year;

  2. students who have outstanding examinations and will sit for them on September retake session - not later than 2 weeks after the beginning of the year.

In order to fulfill the registration requirements, you must bring and submit to the Office of the Registrar:

  1. your index book;

  2. completed legibly and stamped by the Library registration forms (in English) - you can get them at the Copy center-the little Bookstore in front of the University (60 Marin Drinov Street);

  3. a valid copy of your Bulgarian ID;

  4. the filled in and stamped summer practice diary (for 3rd and 4th year students). Тhose students who have completed their summer practice abroad are required also to submit A confirmation letter issued by the hospital where the summer practice was conducted;

  5. a bank confirmation for the paid semestrial tuition fee;

  6. as foreign students are self-insured, you are required to submit upon registration a copy of valid health insurance, covering Bulgaria and the duration of the relevant academic year (or a copy of European health insurance card). If you do not have such, you will be required to fill-in a declaration offered by the Office of the Registrar

Note: The library stamp certifies that you have returned all got out books to the Library prior to your registration for the academic year.

Registration requirements for the summer semester:

  1. Note: The deadline for registration is not later than 2 weeks after the beginning of the semester!!!

  2. You must bring with you your index book;

  3. A bank confirmation for the paid semestrial tuition fee;​
