The
training in Internal Diseases of dental
students is conducted in the sector of Internal Diseases, during the 7th and
8th semester, with horarium of 90 hours.
The study plans and programmes of Internal Diseases
are systematically updated according to the latest achievements in the development
of Medicine. The participation of lectures at national and international
academic forums contributes to the implementation of the consensuses for
diagnosis and treatment in the study programmes. The issuance of a Manual of
Internal Diseases for dental students is forthcoming. Programmes for the introduction
of modular training of students are being developed, as well as tests for
conducting semester exams electronically.
ESS of Children and Infectious Diseases published a textbook
of Pediatrics for dental students by Assoc. Prof. Dr. D. Bliznakova.
