Dr. Mladena Radeva is a graduate of language school Frederic Joliot-Curie, Varna. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She graduated from the Medical University - Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov, Varna in 2015 with honors and awards. In 2018, after successfully passing a competitive exam, she was selected as an assistant at the Department of Eye Diseases and Visual Sciences. Dr. Radeva won the "Young Scientist" award of the Bulgarian Glaucoma Association in March 2019. Later that year, she was awarded the "Doctors we trust" prize. In 2019, she obtained a specialty in eye diseases. In 2020, she graduated from a master's program in health management with honors. Dr. Radeva defended her PhD degree on the topic "Possibilities for microstructural analysis and assessment of damage to the anterior ocular surface from ultraviolet rays of natural and artificial origin" in March 2021. After a competitive exam, the same year was selected as the chief assistant in the department. Dr. Radeva holds a diploma of the European Board of Ophthalmology (EBOD) and has participated in numerous courses and specializations.
She has a large number of scientific publications in national and international journals, as well as numerous citations.
