The 14th National Congress of the Bulgarian Orthopedic and Traumatology Association was opened on 3rd October in Varna. The Congress is organized by the Bulgarian Orthopedic and Traumatology Association.
The Vice Rector for Science and Research at MU - Varna Prof. Christina Grupcheva congratulated the attendees on behalf of the Rector Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov.
"The exchange of experience is of utmost importance for the development of science. Within the conference leading experts from Bulgaria and abroad in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology are about to share their experience and results from their research and practical activities. And this will undoubtedly shed new light on the topics and issues discussed, related to the use of new technologies, techniques and materials, on the Paediatric Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, etc. I would like to congratulate the organizers for their professionalism, and I wish a successful participation and beneficial cooperation to all participants at the 14th edition of the National Congress of the Bulgarian Orthopedic and Traumatology Association!"
The number of participants has been increasing every year, with more than 600 specialists joining the forum this year. Among them, 25 are representatives of foreign countries. Among the attendees there are students - 4th and 5th year of study at MU-Varna, who also have a keen interest in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology. Moreover, 130 reports and 60 posters included in the forum evidence the serious interest in the Congress. The Varna specialists participate at the Congress with eight papers.
A scientific session "Modern Trends in Orthopedics and Traumatology Healthcare" is also being held during the forum. Nurses and healthcare professionals presented their reports.
The 14th National Congress of the Bulgarian Orthopedic and Traumatology Association continues until 6th October.
