One of the most ancient ways of travelling by water is using sails. For thousands of years, people have perfected it. By the early 19th century when the steam engine appeared, the entire global sea trade had been carried out through sailing ships. Extremely popular abroad, today sailing is called the sport of the rich and famous. MU-Varna provides an opportunity for everyone to benefit from the advantages offered by this sport.Sail training will continue to be a part of the mandatory sports training for first and second year students during the second semester at MU-Varna. Moreover, for the first time upper-year students, lecturers and staff will also be able to participate.
Due to the great interest, the application will start from 13:02. to 17.02., till all places are taken.
The training will be held from 18:03. till 21.05. (Saturdays and Sundays only) and will include 10 hours of lectures and 20 hours of practice.
Groups:First Group – Introduction to Sailing - for beginners from first and second year of study - in English (part of the students' mandatory sports training)
Second Group – Sailing - Improvement - Advanced training - in English
Third Group - Introduction to Sailing - for students, academic and administrative staff - in Bulgarian
The course fee is 100 lev for all groups. The sum shall be transferred to the following bank account in advance:

- Application for participation at TRS Sports.
- Payment by bank transfer (in the section grounds for payment, please write down: "Sailing Course").
