28 November 2016 is the beginning of the application
campaign for special achievement scholarships for winter semester of academic
year 2016/2017.
Eligible applicants for
special achievement scholarships are all full-time students (with the exception
of first-year students) during the winter semester, whose GPA from the previous
semester is not lower than Good 4.00 , and who have passed all their exams so
far. Applicants are required to submit a Certificate for their GPA from the
previous semester, issued by the respective Faculty Office and the research or
practical development itself, which must have been developed and presented at
scientific forums either during the winter semester of 2016-2017 academic year,
or during the summer semester of 2015-2016 academic year.
Scholarship applications can
be done online only, through the project website, on the
website of MES. The start date for submitting
applications on the website of MES is 28 November, and the deadline is 15
January. After generating the application forms online, students are required
to print them out and submit them in person for confirmation to the University
from 28 November to 18 January. Students from
the Faculties of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy and Public Health shall
submit the documents in the main building of MU-Varna, Student Affairs Office,
room 205; for the specialties of the Medical College - at the College Office,
room 107; the applicants from the Affiliates in Sliven, Shumen and Veliko
Tarnovo - at the Student Office of the respective Affiliates.
The ranking is to be announced on 8 February 2016, on the
website of MES. Provided you are among the ranked students, but you have not submitted your
IBAN bank account details yet, you are required to do so by13 February, online again,
through the website of MES. The bank account for transferring the scholarships for the
winter semester has to be in DSK Bank (in BGN, personal, on your name), and
this time you are not required to submit the bank account details to the
University.
Each
student is eligible to receive up to 3 scholarships within one semester.The
special achievement scholarship amounts to 200 lev, one-time payment.
