The Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology and Therapy Prof. Dr. Stefka Valcheva-Kuzmanova presented MU-Varna with three scientific papers at the 32nd Congress of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (32nd ECNP Congress). The event took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 7th to 10th September 2019, with more than 5000 scientists from all over the world taking part in it.
In the presented research papers, Prof. Kuzmanova studies the effect of biologically active substances of plant origin on animal models of anxiety and depression.
The Congress is the greatest European forum in psychiatric and neurological sciences. Its mission is the development of translational medicine, through which the progress in the study of the brain function and human behaviour underpins the improvement of the treatment of the nervous system disorders.
