We would like to remind all students, lecturers and administrative staff at MU-Varna that the deadline of the competition for selecting a name of the Student Sports Club of the Department of Foreign Languages, Communication and Sports is 30th June. The name should be euphonic, not longer than 12 characters, it should be associated with sports and MU-Varna, easy for chanting by the fans and of course, it must not be ridiculing. A money prize of 100 lev will be awarded to the winner, whose name will be chosen by a jury and announced on the website of MU-Varna on 1st July.
After selecting the name of the Sports Club, the second round of the competition will be announced, which will challenge your designer talents – then you will face the task to create a logo / emblem, incorporating the selected name.
The Sports Club of MU-Varna was created by Decision №43 of the Academic Council of 30 March 2015, pursuant of Art. 30, para. 1, item 3 A of the Law on Higher Education and Art. 26 para. 1 of the Law on Physical Education and Sports. In addition to developing the physical training of the students at MU-Varna, behind the idea of creating the Sports Club stands the aim of all sportspeople at the University to have a legal opportunity to participate in the competitions of various federations. Presently, the formation of the ten sections that will be incorporated in the structure of the Club is underway. The President of the Sports Club is Chavdar Yankov – an expert in Strategic Planning at the Department of Property Management at MU-Varna.
