On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of MU-Varna, the Centre for Electronic and Distance Learning organizes the first Varna Conference on e-Learning and Knowledge Management: BRIDGE BETWEEN SECONDARY AND HIGHER EDUCATION. The conference, which will be held at the University on 30th September - 1st October, is aimed at bringing together representatives of secondary and higher schools in Bulgaria to discuss current challenges and propose solutions to the successful transition from secondary school to university education by means of electronic training. The aim of the conference is to become a discussion forum for the exchange of concepts, innovative solutions and practices in the field of e-learning and distance learning. It provides a platform for discussing new ideas for scientific research and teaching methodologies in the field of e-learning.
Conference participants will discuss topics related to the theory and practice of e-learning and distance learning, interactivity and adaptability of the learning process through a variety of technological solutions, pedagogy of change, digital technology and intercultural training, implementation of electronic platforms for teaching at school and university structures and quality of e-learning.
The conference will be held in the following sections:
• Forms of e-learning and distance learning at secondary and higher schools;
• Methodological and pedagogical aspects of e-learning;
• Technical possibilities and solutions when working with electronic platforms;
• Psychological and social dimensions of the application of information technologies into teaching and learning processes;
• Roundtable on e-learning for secondary and university students.
