The
first in our country Safe Medicine Course is being held at MU-Varna. The
course, which goes on till 28th April 2016, is intended for 5th
and 6th year medical students. The training provides essential
knowledge and skills, enabling future medical professionals to detect potential
risks and acquire capabilities of protecting patients from undue harm or
potential injury resulting from medical care provided.
In the future, it
is expected the course to be incorporated in the training of
a wider range of students at
other medical universities, as well as in
the required postgraduate training programme.
