The Rector of MU – Varna Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov, MD, PhD, DSc, signed an agreement for academic collaboration between the Medical University of Varna and Kursk State Medical University (Russia). The main objective of the bilateral agreement is to develop the academic exchange and collaboration in the field of medicine, dental medicine and pharmacy in some of the following fields of study: joint scientific research, joint scientific forums and publications, academic exchange of students and lecturers.
The partners from Kursk sought assistance from the Center for Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria in Moscow at the Ministry of Economy and Energy which served as a mediator in the signing of the agreement.
This is the 12th bilateral agreement signed during the last year. Our successful exchange with the medical universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg will continue and the academic collaboration with the universities in Kiev, Kharkov and Kursk will be implemented in 2015.
The collaboration with partner countries in the framework of "Erasmus+" Programme – Credit Mobility, which reveals the opportunities for exchange of students and lecturers from countries outside of the European Union, starts this year.
