For the sixth consecutive year students from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University have carried out their summer internship at the training and clinical facilities of Medical University - Varna. 22 students from the Moscow University received their certificates at a solemn ceremony, held on Friday, 15.07.2016. The documents for a successfully completed internship were awarded by Prof. Dr. Zlatislav Stoyanov - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
Over the past two weeks, twelve medical students, six students in Dental Medicine and four students in Pharmacy were being trained under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Branimir Kanazirev, Ch. Assist. Prof. Dr. Georgi Papanchev and Assist. Pharm. Iliya Zhelev. All leaders of the summer internships shared the impression of the excellent level of academic preparation, high motivation, discipline and thoroughness of the Russian students. The Management of Medical University - Varna thanked the lecturers, who conducted the summer internships, for their cooperation and responsible attitude to the Moscow interns.
At the certificate award ceremony, the Moscow students underlined that the internship would remain in their memories with the modern technological equipment of the University facilities, and the high professionalism of the doctors and nurses at St. Marina University Hospital. They expressed their gratitude to the Management of MU-Varna for turning the student exchange programme between the two universities into a tradition, to the students from MU-Varna - for their assistance and the organization of the cultural and entertainment programme apart from the clinical internship, to the Department of International Cooperation for the entire coordination and flawless organization of the summer internship.
In two days а group of 23 students from MU-Varna are travelling to Moscow for their summer internship on a reciprocal basis at the partner University of MU-Varna.
