The Rector of Medical University–Varna Prof. Dr. Dimitar Raykov, DSc and the Academic Management had a meeting with seven of the consuls in the Sea Capital at the initiative of the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Dr. Mario Milkov, PhD. At the meeting, the opportunities for studying at MU-Varna, innovative methods and high technologies in the pre-clinical and clinical training of students, scientific and international projects in the field of Medicine and Healthcare were presented. During the meeting it was emphasised that more than 6 500 students, of whom 1 900 – international students, are currently studying at the University.
For their part, the consuls presented the countries which they represented and declared their readiness to expand the international cooperation with MU-Varna. The meeting was attended by the consuls of Germany – Mr. Nedyalko Nedelchev, Spain – Mr. Hristo Dosev, Indonesia – Mr. Krasimir Simov, Israel – Prof. Krasimir Metodiev, South Africa – Mr. Nenko Nenkov, Kazakhstan – Mr. Milen Raykov and Denmark, Norway and Sweden – Mr. Konstantin Daradanov.
