Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Medical University -Varna Assoc.
Prof. Tsanka Dikova was elected a full member of the World Academy of Materials
and Manufacturing Engineering (WAMME) and a member of the Board of Directors at
a general meeting of the Academy, held on 7th December in Zakopane,
Poland. The event took place within the 22nd International
Scientific Conference "Achievements in Mechanical and Materials
Engineering AMME 2015". The invitation came by the President of the Academy -
Prof. Leszek Dobrzański. Assoc. Prof. Dikova was awarded with a diploma and an honorary
medal for her merits and high achievements in the research
and training activities in the field of materials science.
The World Academy of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering was established 10 years ago. It aims to promote and support the development of materials and the technology for their treatment, to assist actively in the cooperation and dissemination of the knowledge in this field, to encourage individuals and institutions with outstanding scientific and organizational achievements. The World Academy WAMME achieves its objectives through various activities in science and education, organization of scientific meetings and events, publication activities and issuance of the scientific journal "International Journal of Achievements in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering", cooperation with other organizations and institutions with similar activities, collaboration with scientific and educational institutions, implementation and participation in international research projects.
